Ornamental Desk Lamp

For this project I wanted to combine the two forms I had already experimented with: One, the usage of BX as a purely space-filling ornament, and two, the usage of BX as the chord to a light bulb that, without the former qualities of the BX as an ornament, would be obtrusive and ugly. In short, I wanted to place a lightbulb directly above a desk in a manner so that the chord, which would normally hinder a lamp's attractiveness, would in fact be the exact quality of the lamp that would permit it such an ambitious placement.
